Miami Police are asking for the public's help in locating a teen girl who went missing Monday.
Evelyn Rivera, 17, was last seen at her home in the 200 block of Northwest 10th Street, Miami Police said Wednesday.
"Every day, every single minute is worse for me, for the family," Rivera's mother, Wanda Gomez, said Wednesday night.
Gomez said it's the first time her daughter has gone missing. She fought back tears as she pleaded for the public's help in finding the teen.
"I just want to tell the community if they know something, I just want to know that she's fine," she said.
Rivera is 5-foot-6, 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a black sweater and khaki pants when she was last seen.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call Miami Police at 305-603-6300.
