Multiple Injuries Reported in Broward Crash on I-75 NB

Eight people were injured in a serious crash on I-75 in west Broward involving at least five vehicles Monday.

Multiple crews, including Florida Highway Patrol and Broward Fire Rescue teams, responded to the scene around 10 a.m. Monday on I-75 northbound just west of toll plaza level 1.

Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue teams report that eight people were injured. At least two of those injured in the crash are children. All patients were being taken to area hospitals for treatment.

One adult was taken to Broward Health Medical Center as a trauma alert, BSO officials said.

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
