Lockdown Lifted at Nova High School

    Nova High School and the adjacent middle school were placed on lockdown for a "suspicious incident" Monday morning, Davie Police said.

    Footage showed several officers outside the school and a bomb squad truck responding to the scene.

    The lockdown was lifted a short time later after police determined a boy had put his sister's backpack in a bush.

    No other details were immediately known.
