Nude Man Had Small Toy Pistol in Bottom While Driving: Police

A 33-year-old man stopped in Fort Pierce had several surprises for police to find, including a small toy gun in his rear-end

A Fort Pierce man who was arrested while driving naked was found with a plastic toy pistol up his rear, authorities say.

Robert Leo Casey, 49, was pulled over on July 2 as he drove stark nude in his black Jeep Cherokee in the 4600 block of Okeechobee Road, according to a Fort Pierce Police Department report.

According to the report, when an officer tried to stop Casey, he drove slowly for 200 yards in a northbound lane of I-95 as he attempted to get dressed.
"It appeared that he was trying to get dressed by attempting to pull on a pair of pants that he had grabbed from the passenger seat," the report said.
When Casey exited the car, he had completed pulling up his pants but was shirtless and was wearing two different shoes, the report said.
Casey could not explain why he was driving naked and stated he “had problems with this and is getting therapy,” the report said.
A witness told the police that he had been driving in a tall tow-truck and saw Casey completely naked in his vehicle, the report said. It appeared as if though Casey was touching himself inappropriately as he drove, the witness told police.
But the real adventure began when Casey was arrested and being booked into jail. As he was being searched, an officer discovered that Casey had an orange toy pistol tied to the inside of his upper thigh. Half of the pistol's eight-inch barrel was estimated to be in Casey’s rear, the report said.
Casey was charged with lewd or lascivious exhibition and booked into the St. Lucie County Jail.
