Palm Beach Boy Dies After Truck Accidentally Backs Over Him

    Authorities say a 3-year-old boy has died after being accidentally struck by a pickup truck driven by a family member.

    According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, the pickup truck backed over the child Sunday in a Loxahatchee neighborhood.

    The child was flown to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

    One person is dead after a crash involving four cars in Southwest Miami-Dade, officials said. Homicide investigators are looking into the crash that happened at about 9:41 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Southwest 117th Avenue and Southwest 72nd Street, according to Miami-Dade Police. NBC 6's Gilma Avalos reports.

    Deputy Eric Davis tells The Palm Beach Post that no charges are pending. Neither the child nor the relative who was driving were identified.
