The tax-free weekend in Florida includes back-to-school supplies, computers, tablets, clothing and even furniture. But, not many people realize that diapers are also included in the list of tax-exempt items.
Parents will enjoy no taxes even on diaper bags, diaper inserts and bibs.
Diapers fall under tax-free clothing and includes adult and baby, cloth or disposable diapers, according to Florida's sales tax website.
All clothing, footwear and certain accessories selling for $60 or less per item will be tax free.
Many retailers are having special sales this week, just in time for the holiday, which starts Friday, August 4th and runs through Sunday, August 6th. No sales tax also applies to online purchases, if you prefer not fighting the crowds.
