A man was struck and killed by a car as he attempted to cross a roadway in Wilton Manors Tuesday.
It happened around 10:30 p.m. near 2000 Wilton Drive.
Police said Gregory Futchi, 68, of Wilton Manors, was coming out of a local bar and restaurant and was attempting to cross Wilton Drive westbound in an area with no designated crosswalk.
He was struck by a 2012 Nissan Versa that was traveling southbound.
Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue responded to the scene and transported Futchi to Broward Health Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.
The 26-year-old driver wasn't injured and remained at the scene. There's no word on whether she'll face any charges.
