A police car was stolen from outside a police officer's home in southwest Miami-Dade.
The theft was reported at 8:30 a.m. Monday. The car was taken from a home located in the area of 169th Avenue and 274th Street.
Officers describe the vehicle as a green and white 2008 Crown Victoria, Unit 1606A, tag TB2396.
No firearms were taken, but a police vest and helmet were stolen.
