Withdraw cash from a bank three times and you likely won't be remembered, but demand cash in three seperate robberies at the same branch of a bank and you won't be forgotten.

That's exactly what happened this past Saturday when a man robbed the Bank Atlantic on Commercial Blvd. in Tamarac.

According to police, tellers had been ripped off by the repeat robber so many times they recognized him, even in his hat and sunglasses disguise.

"It's him again," one of the tellers remarked after the man, described as "portly" and sporting dreadlocks, demanded cash, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office police report.

After stuffing a white grocery bag with the cash, the thief took off on foot.

The man had hit the very same branch on February 1 and June 25 earlier this year and he'd also cased the bank in January. He was caught on surveillance cameras each time.

The BSO is asking anyone with information on the robberies to call Crime Stoppers of Broward County at 954-493-TIPS.
