Reward Increases in Beating Death of Dog in Pembroke Pines

The reward in the vicious beating death of a dog in Pembroke Pines continues to increase.

The reward for information leading to a suspect has increased to $16,000, more than five times the amount of the first offer.

Crime Stoppers of Broward County and the Animal Legal Defense Fund are offering the reward in the death of Foxx, who was found dead with a handwritten note attached to his body that read, "WE BEAT IT 2 Death lol!"

Officers found the body of the 13-year-old Pomeranian last month less than a day after he went missing. A veterinarian found Fox had multiple fractures, 10 broken ribs, missing teeth and a broken back. The vet said he was likely kicked to death.

The suspect or suspects haven't been found.

Anyone with information is asked to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
