A family is lucky to be alive after the driver of an SUV lost control and slammed into the side of a Northwest Miami-Dade house.
The SUV crashed into the home at Northwest 32nd Avenue and 91st Street around 1:30 p.m. Monday, according to officials.
No one inside the house was injured, but the driver sustained head injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
