Men Arrested for Possession of Child Pornography in Broward Crime Sweep: BSO

Philip Wilmoth, 53, was arrested after he forgot something on the bus, Broward Sheriffâ s Office Det. Jennifer Montgomery said. Wilmoth said he had "no idea" why he was being arrested. Robert Carroll, 60, of Lauderhill, who was also arrested, said that he was not trading child pornography. BSO Lt. Nadine Dunn and Nancy McBride of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children spoke about the issue.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office said it has shut down several blocks of Commercial Boulevard in Tamarac after a fatal crash involving an adult pedestrian Tuesday night.

The boulevard’s eastbound and westbound lanes are closed between NW 31st Avenue and the 2800 block while traffic homicide detectives investigate the cause of the crash, the BSO said in a statement.

The crash happened just after 8 p.m. on the 2900 block of Commercial Boulevard, according to the BSO.
