Broward deputies are investigating a shooting that shut down southbound I-95 near Commercial Boulevard early Sunday.

A man who had been shot crashed his silver Buick into a guard rail on I-95 at about 6:30 a.m., said Broward Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Dani Moschella.

The car caught fire and the man died on the scene, according to Moschella.

BSO Homicide and Crime Scene detectives have not released details of the shooting.

All lanes have been cleared on I-95.
