A second migrant smuggling operation was stopped on Sunday— this time at Black Point Marina in Southwest Miami-Dade.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection and Miami-Dade Police Department put an end to the migrant smuggling operation Sunday afternoon. At least three smugglers were detained and five people were handcuffed on boat.
One of the marina docks is closed off while authorities investigate. No further details were made available.
