South Floridians Feeling Coolest Temperatures in Months

South Florida is experiencing its own taste of fall Sunday as the much anticipated cold front continues to track through the southern half of the sunshine state, leaving in its wake cooler and more comfortable conditions.

Middle to upper 60s will be out there Sunday as you get out the door. Sweater for the early morning is needed but by afternoon t-shirts will be just fine. Highs will be unseasonable but a refreshing change, topping out into the low 80s

You have to go back five months, to May 8-9, for the last time lows were in the 60s in Miami-Dade and Fort Lauderdale. It seemed particularly hot this summer, with only two days in July where high temps were below 90 degrees.

South Floirda will stay quiet and comfortable into the work week with a gradual increase in wind speeds and moisture by the end of the week.
