Hialeah Police arrested a suspect for allegedly stabbing a man during a fight Thursday.
It happened around 1:45 p.m. in the 6400 block of West 24th Avenue.
According to the family of the stabbing victim, he rents a room at an apartment owned by the suspect's sister. They said the suspect and his sister got into an argument and that's when the victim intervened.
The suspect then allegedly slashed the victim and fled the scene. He was detained by police a short time later at a nearby bus stop. His name or possible charges have not been released.
The victim was treated and released at the scene by Hialeah Fire Rescue.
