Teen Arrested in North Lauderdale Shooting, Injuring 2 Juveniles

Police have arrested a 19-year-old man in connection to a North Lauderdale shooting that sent two teenagers to the hospital — one of them in critical condition.

Fernandinho St Lot was arrested Sunday afternoon for his alleged involvement in a North Lauderdale shooting, according to Broward Sheriff's Office. Police said St Lot will face two charges of attempted murder of two juveniles.

Cell phone video taken Saturday near Southwest 76th Avenue and Southwest 10th Court appears to show two teens fighting. The video ends with the suspect, who is wearing a grey shirt, black sweatpants and flip flops, pulling out a firearm and opening fire.

"I couldn’t see exactly what was going on," Anirudh Singh told NBC 6. "I just saw a bunch of the kids run up. One fell on the ground and the others went to help him and I took my phone and call 911."

Witnesses said one of the teens was shot in the stomach and the other in the arm.

As of Sunday, both teens remained hospitalized.
