A Virginia tourist who came to South Florida to live it up Miami style at Ultra Music Festival died Sunday evening after he drowned during a pool party at the Clevelander hotel.
Vincent Owusu, from Woodbridge, Virginia, was at the Nervous Records Pool Party at the Clevelander when he was found face-down in the pool around 5:30 p.m., authorities said.
Miami Beach Fire Rescue workers pulled the 40-year-old, who reportedly had been drinking, out of the pool.
They performed CPR and transported him to Mount Sinai hospital in Miami Beach, but Owusu later died at the hospital.
