A humid pattern is in place to start the year with warm ocean breezes running across South Florida Wednesday afternoon.
While a weak front lifts north, an isolated shower could pop up under partly sunny skies. Highs Wednesday will reach into the lower 80s.
Relief is on the way by Friday with the passage of a cold front, resetting temperatures to more seasonable levels. By Friday and Saturday morning, lows should drop into the lower 60s with afternoon highs in the lower to middle 70s.
