A few offshore showers Saturday morning may impact a few coastal areas, but they will quickly die once they reach shore.

Otherwise, sunny skies and humid conditions are starting the weekend off on a muggy note.

Saturday will warm quickly, with highs in the upper 80s.

The chance of showers and storms will be in the forecast for the afternoon, with some storms becoming strong later in the day.

Mother’s Day will be a repeat of Saturday, with a round of afternoon storms possible.

Hot and humid conditions will last through Monday, then slightly cooler weather will take over by mid-week.
