Police are investigating an overnight shooting at a bar in northern New Jersey that left three men -- including the son of the owner of the bar and an employee -- dead and two others wounded Christmas morning.

Authorities said the shooting occurred at about 12:45 a.m. Wednesday at what they described as a "go-go bar" in Irvington named Slick's, which is located in an industrial area a few blocks away from the Garden State Parkway.

Prosecutors say the three men killed include the club owner's son, 34-year-old Pierre Clervoyant of Elizabeth, and an employee, 32-year-old Woodley Daniel of Irvington. The other man killed has not been identified but police say he appears to have been an unintended target.

The two wounded men were only identified as a 27-year-old Irvington resident and a 34-year-old East Orange resident.

A witness told a local TV station that shots erupted after a fight broke out on the steps of the club. He said about 100 people were at Slick's at the time.

Authorities say it appeared the gunman was stopped by the bouncer as he tried to enter the bar. He started firing, and the victims were hit on the street, prosecutors told NBC 4 New York.

Initial reports indicated that police were looking for a grey car that fled the scene. No arrests were immediately announced.
