Man Orders 2 Burgers Before Robbing NY Burger King: Police

Police are looking for the man who ordered two burgers before robbing a Long Island Burger King Sunday afternoon.

The man went into the Burger King on Long Beach Road in Oceanside just before 5 p.m., ordered a burger and left, the Nassau County Police Department says.

About five minutes later, the man returned wearing a mask and ordered another burger, authorities say. When the cashier opened the register, the suspect walked around the counter, stole cash from the drawer and left the restaurant.

The man drove away from the scene in a black Honda with taped-over New York license plates, officials say.

No one was injured in the robbery and no other customers were inside the restaurant at the time, police say.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-888-577-8477.
