Local purse designers offer new styles for fall, and 50 percent off

Zen 3 is marking down all purses by 50 percent off this week.
Frugal fashionistas in need of some retail enlightenment need not look further than ZEN boutique in Hallandale Beach’s Fashion Row.
The shop, owned by ZEN 3 purse designers and mother-daughter trio Mari Saka, Suzy Aribu and Corin Saka, is holding a huge sale this week, and all purses will be marked down 50 percent off.
“We will also be donating 10 percent of all proceeds to Susan G. Komen for The Cure,” said Mari.
The boutique, which opened less than a year ago, is stocked with an assortment of their signature faux leather purses such as the woven Mari, the croc-embossed Francesca bag and the Lindsay bag.
New to the collection are ten purses, including the trendy gold-studded Jenna tote and the simple yet stylish Olivia handbag.
Mari says her designs are ideal for any type of woman.
“Whether you’re a mother, a student or a career woman our bags are fashion forward and multifunctional,” said Mari. “They are spacious enough so you can fit everything from diapers to books in them.”
Zen 3 bags retail from $60 to $330.
