A hotter-than-normal pattern will descend on South Florida Tuesday as an off-shore breeze will set-up and push our temperatures into the lower 90s this afternoon under mostly sunny skies.
Some thunderstorms will still be possible late in the afternoon, mainly in Broward County and points north.
Expect highs around 93, with lows around 77 at night. Highs Wednesday will again be around 93. Normal highs this time of year run around 89.
By the weekend, storm chances diminish and temperatures return to normal as a ridge of high pressure builds back into the Western Atlantic and across South Florida.
Hurricane season continues but there are no threats across the region to watch at this time.
