Monday morning started out quiet in South Florida, with a few showers offshore.

Lows were in the mid to upper 70s, with a stray morning shower possible. We will stay mainly dry for the next few days, as a ridge of high pressure works in from the east.  It will bring in an easterly flow, meaning drier air and fewer storms.

There's a slight chance of showers Monday afternoon and Tuesday. Highs will be around 90 for the rest of the week.
