Morning temperatures are in the low 80s, with humid conditions across the area. The day will warm to the upper 80s Sunday, with a 40 percent chance of rain.
Partly cloudy skies should remain through most of the morning, before afternoon storms start to fire off.
Most of the storms form in western areas, then push inland. East winds Sunday at 5-10mph.
Sunday night and Monday, rain chances will increase. A strong easterly flow will push numerous showers inland, resulting in a 50 percent chance of rain and breezy conditions.
The National Hurricane Center is currently issuing advisories on Tropical Storms Ernesto and Florence. Ernesto is rather disorganized Sunday morning, but maintaining tropical storm strength.
There is a tropical storm warning in effect for Jamaica and a tropical storm watch in effect for Honduras. Tropical Storm Florence is still well out in the Eastern Atlantic and has stopped strengthening at the moment. Neither of these storms are a threat to South Florida.
