Dorian No Longer a Tropical Storm

The storm degenerated into a tropical wave, reported the National Hurricane Center.

    Dorian was no longer a tropical storm as of 5 p.m. Saturday, according to the National Hurricane Center in Miami.

    The depression no longer had a closed surface circulation, the NHC said.

    Dorian's remnants were moving rapidly westward at 24 miles per hour with maximum sustained winds of 40 miles per hour.
