Powerful high pressure parked across the Carolinas will again provide the forecast for strong winds Tuesday in South Florida.
A strong, steady breeze will continue and keep the rip current risk elevated through Wednesday. A small craft advisory is also in effect for the coastal waters of South Florida.
Expect partly sunny conditions with a few showers and highs around 84 Tuesday. Wednesday will be partly sunny and breezy again with highs around 85.
By Thursday, the breeze should break but humidity will return, along with warmer temperatures.
Overall rainfall coverage should remain low across the area for the next several days. Nothing more than a passing shower on the breeze is anticipated through Wednesday.
