Now That's Spicy

Spring Miami Spice lets you gorge gourmand the entire month of May

At heart you’re a foodie with the palate of a privileged Parisian dining nightly on the crème de la crème.

In reality, you’re a 9-to-5ers who makes just enough to pay the bills and splurge on Burger King every now and then.

From May 1 through 31, thanks to the first ever Spring Miami Spice, you can be both.

With three-course lunches for $23 and dinner for just $36 at some of Miami’s most chi-chi-von-fancy eateries, it really is possible to be a paycheck-to-paycheck epicurean.

If you prefer to do your dining in South Beach, check out restaurants like China Grill, The Forge and The Restaurant at the Setai, where we strongly suggest the Bengali Talapia Fish Curry.

If you’re more of a northerner, give it a go at Pacific Time and Michy’s, where both chefs are as legendary as their leftovers.

You can salivate down south at Baleen Miami, Cacao and Palme d’Or, while the North Beach crowd will get their gastronomic goods at 1 Bleu and Il Mulino.

Or, be adventurous and try eating out of your surrounding area. There’s a whole list for you to choose from and enough on the menu to make you wish Miami Spice stuck around a lot longer than just the month of May.

Plus, it's a great affordable idea to treat mom for Mother's Day. Hey, she's been in the kitchen for years. Let her kick back and relax while someone else does the cooking.

With more than 50 restaurants participating, you’ll definitely want to give those fast food burgers a break and treat yourself to something with a little spice.
