What You're Doing Tonight, 5/21

Liquor, legs and lectures, oh my!

PUT IT ON THE TAB: Whoever said being healthy meant resisting temptation has obviously never indulged in the low-cal cocktails at Level 25.  Starting this Thursday, the venue will be holding 'Skinny Thursdays' every week.  5-8 p.m.

CALLING ALL INNER-SHOWGIRLS: Get a leg up on your weekend plans with "Chat Noir", the official Thursday burlesque cabaret dinner show located at Maxine's Bistro & Bar at The Catalina Hotel.  Guests are encouraged to take part in the entertainment, which includes drag queen performers.  Just don't be upset when Robin Antin doesn't call to recruit you as the next Pussycat Doll. 8 p.m.-2 a.m.

EDUCATION IS POWER: African Diaspora authors Edwidge Danticat and Tananarive Due are scheduled to speak at the Historical Museum of Southern Florida Thursday night as a tribute to their best-selling works.  A bonus?  Anyone can attend, and it's free!
6:30 p.m.
