Hollywood police have released disturbing surveillance video of a deadly hit and run.

The video shows 46-year-old Robert Consavage being mowed down by a driver as he is crossing N. Ocean Drive at Indiana Street in Hollywood.

"It's my father, the man I love most in this world," Kate Consavage said with tears in her eyes.

The 18-year-old's father was killed at 2:45 a.m. Christmas Eve. The driver never stopped.

"My mom woke me up on Christmas Eve morning and she brought my brothers and I to her room and she told us that my father had been killed," Kate Consavage recalled Wednesday.

The happy holidays were instead filled with mourning for Kate, who flew in from New Hampshire after learning what had happened.

"I'm guessing he was probably just out with friends and just was walking home," she said.

She says her father had just moved to South Florida two months ago from New Hampshire, after taking a job as a chief operating officer for a local financial company.  Everything seemed to be going well for him. And to top it off, Kate was planning to visit him next week.

"He texted me almost everyday with the weather in Florida, when he found another restaurant he wanted to take me to, and it was hard to know that's not going to happen anymore.  I'm not gonna see him again," said Kate.

Thanks to a surveillance camera mounted outside "Joe's Market" and the parts of the car left behind in the accident, Hollywood detectives know what vehicle they are looking for.

A possible 2007 white Dodge Magnum Station Wagon like this, last seen traveling Southbound on N. Ocean drive.  The suspect’s vehicle should be missing the passenger side mirror and may have front end damage.

Kate made a plea for the driver to come forward.

"I'm just mostly hurt, you know? It's hard to know that I only had 18 years with my father. I would just ask him to come forward."

Robert Consavage leaves behind  three children.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Broward CrimeStoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
