Early sunshine will give way to mostly cloudy skies and steamy conditions as highs reach 90 Wednesday afternoon in South Florida.
Showers and storms are still in the forecast Wednesday and Thursday before a sunnier weather pattern drops in for the weekend.
A significant weather advisory was issued for southeastern Broward, northern Miami-Dade, southeastern Collier and northern mainland Monroe counties for gusty winds of 45 to 55 miles per hour until 1 p.m.
By the weekend, expect dry conditions and lower humidity as highs climb to near 90.
Conditions in the tropics remain quiet at this time.
