$15,000 Reward Now Offered in Beating Death of Broward Dog

The reward in the vicious beating death of a dog in Pembroke Pines has been raised to $15,000, authorities said Tuesday.

Crime Stoppers of Broward County and the Animal Legal Defense Fund are offering the reward in the death of Foxx, who was found dead with a handwritten note attached to his body that read, "WE BEAT IT 2 Death lol!"

Officers found the body of the 13-year-old Pomeranian earlier this month less than a day after he went missing. A veterinarian found Fox had multiple fractures, 10 broken ribs, missing teeth and a broken back. The vet said he was likely kicked to death.

The suspect or suspects haven't been found.

The Facebook page "Justice for Foxx the Pomeranian" continues to grow and had more than 6,600 likes as of Tuesday.

Anyone with information is asked to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
