2 Teens Seriously Injured in Motorcycle Crash: Miami Fire Rescue

The cause of the crash was unclear.

Two teenage boys were seriously injured after being ejected from a motorcycle during a car crash in Miami, authorities said.

The crash happened around 10:30 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Northwest 30th Avenue and 4th Street, according to Miami Fire Rescue.

Paramedics were dispatched to the scene after receiving reports of a person who was not feeling well. When Fire Rescue arrived, they found a four-door BMW and a motorcycle had collided.

Two teenage boys, ages 17 and 19, were on the ground with serious injuries, according to MFR. One of the teens, the driver of the motorcycle, was found next to the BMW, and the other teen was found about 20 feet away from the scene.

The unidentified teens were transported to Ryder Trauma Center in serious condition. The BMW driver, an unidentified adult female, was treated on the scene for minor cuts and bruises.

Neighbors told officials they heard a loud crash and found a motorcycle and car severely damaged at the intersection. Good Samaritans initially helped the crash victims until first responders arrived at the scene.

Miami Police is investigating the cause of the crash.
