    Shot Fired During Armed Robbery in Oakland Park

    Authorities are searching for an armed thief who was caught on camera opening fire inside an Oakland Park convenience store during a robbery.

    Authorities are searching for an armed thief who was caught on camera opening fire inside an Oakland Park convenience store during a robbery last month.

    The robbery happened Nov. 21 at the Loren Food Mart at 3801 Northwest 9th Avenue, Broward Sheriff's Office officials said.

    Surveillance footage showed the suspect entering the store before firing his weapon. He demanded money from the register and the clerk complied, officials said.

    The robber was wearing a black baseball cap with a black T-shirt tucked under his hat, a black long sleeve Nike jacket, blue jean shorts, dark-colored shoes and a red bandanna covering his face.
