Police are investigating after a dead body was discovered in a burning van in Northwest Miami-Dade late Wednesday.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue and police were called to the 1200 block of Northwest 137th Avenue around 11:30 p.m. to reports of a vehicle on fire, Miami-Dade Police said.
Once the fire was put out, the victim was discovered inside.
The age, race, gender and cause of death are pending the medical examiner's report, police said.
