A body has been found in a dumpster at 2601 W. Atlantic Blvd. in Pompano Beach, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said.
BSO homicide detectives and crime scene investigators are on the scene after police were called about the body just before 2 p.m., the BSO said.
"At this time, detectives are treating this as an unattended death," BSO spokesman Mike Jachles said in a statement. "There were no outward signs of foul play. However, the Broward County Medical Examiner's Office will rule on the cause of death."
