Bomb Squad Units Called After Reports of Suspicious Package in Downtown Miami

  • Bomb squad units were been called to the scene, determining that the package was safe and reopening the road shortly after 10 a.m.

Officials have given the all clear after a suspicious package was delivered to a Downtown Miami location Tuesday morning.

Miami Police tweeted that the area along Southeast 1st Avenue between 2nd and 3rd Streets was closed to both cars and pedestrians while they investigate the package that was delivered to the Miami Tower shortly after 9 a.m.
