Police are investigating after a burglar caused extensive damage to a North Palm Beach Islamic Center early Friday.
Officers responded to the burglary at the Islamic Center of the Palm Beaches at 101 Castlewood Drive and found numerous broken windows and shutters, North Palm Beach Police said.
Police said the burglar, who was wearing light-colored clothing, a Miami Heat baseball hat and was carrying a tire iron, entered through a bathroom window.
The suspect was seen leaving the area in an SUV, either a Ford Escape or a Jeep Grand Cherokee, police said. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 561-841-3303.
