Pembroke Pines Police have identified the man struck and killed by a car while on his motorized wheelchair on Christmas.
Robert Patrick Selcedo, 71, died Christmas morning as a result of his injuries, according to police.
Police say Selcedo was traveling south on Sheridan Street in his wheelchair when the driver of a Dodge Caravan struck him, according to authorities.
Fire Rescue transported the man to the hospital late on Christmas Eve where he died the next morning.
The driver and the passenger in the Caravan were not injured, police said.
The investigation is ongoing and no charges have been filed.
