Miami Fire-Rescue responded to a double shooting Tuesday evening.
It happened around 9:30 p.m. in the 3500 block of Thomas Avenue near Grand Avenue in Coconut Grove.
MFR said there were reports of two females that were shot; a 27-year-old and a 63-year-old. Officials said they were transported to the hospital in serious but stable condition.
Witnesses said one woman was sitting in her vehicle and the other was walking on the sidewalk, when they were both suddenly shot.
One of the victims told police the shots were fired from inside a dark-colored vehicle.
