Easter Events Taking Over South Florida This Weekend!

South Florida is in for a weekend of ‘egg’-travagant events as the Easter holiday approaches Sunday. Here’s a list of some family fun you can have with your little ones this weekend.

Starting Friday, there are eggs to be found all weekend at Jungle Island’s Mega Egg Hunt Adventure. Bounce houses, rides and more are included with admission through Sunday.

Zoo Miami will be holding an “Egg Safari” with animals, photo opportunities, games and more. The events run Saturday and Sunday with paid admission.

The city of Fort Lauderdale is inviting residents to take part in their Spring Eggstravaganza sponsored by the city’s Parks and Recreation Department. Egg hunts, food trucks and more will be at three spots in the city on Saturday – from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Holiday Park, 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Croissant Park and 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Lauderdale Manors Park – with a special visit from the Easter Bunny!

Miami Seaquarium will be holding their annual Bunny-palooza event – featuring a new kids foam zone this weekend – with for all ages with admission.

More than 15,000 Easter eggs will be dropped by helicopter onto the football field at Coral Springs High School starting at 1 p.m. on Sunday. To register for this event, go to The Life Fellowship Coral Springs’ Facebook page.

Finally, the city of Hialeah will be rolling out over 50,000 eggs for kids to find at their annual event starting at 10 a.m. Saturday inside Goodlet Park. Events range in cost from $5 to $15.
