FBI Searching for Suspects in 3 Bank Robberies

Investigators were looking into three banks robberies Friday.

Officials were investigating three bank robberies in Miami-Dade Friday.

The FBI said a robber entered a TD Bank at 2495 NE 8th Street in Homestead just before 9 a.m. and demanded money from an employee. The robber took an undisclosed amount of money from the bank and fled, according to investigators. No one was injured.

Investigators were looking into another bank robbery at the Wells Fargo at 1752 Biscayne Blvd. in Miami. A robber entered the bank just before 9:30 a.m. and demanded money from an employee, according to the FBI. The robber was able to get away with an undisclosed amount of money, investigators said. No one was injured in this incident either.

The FBI said another robbery Friday afternoon at a Regions Bank Branch on the 1400 block of NW 3rd Avenue was related to the Wells Fargo robbery. In the Friday afternoon robbery, the robber entered the bank, demanded money, and then left.

The FBI didn't release how much money was taken from the Regions Bank during the robbery.
