The Florida Highway Patrol identified Beatrice Stewart, 62, as the woman who was struck and killed by at least three vehicles while trying to cross I-595 in Davie Thursday night.
The agency said Friday night that its investigators are still looking into the circumstances that led to the crash, which happened on the westbound side of I-595 near Davie Road at about 9:15 p.m. Those lanes were closed for about five hours afterward.
