A Florida Highway Patrol trooper was injured in a hit-and-run crash on the Turnpike Saturday afternoon.
The crash happened on the southbound Turnpike exit to Hollywood Boulevard, authorities said. The collision, which happened just before 4 p.m., caused traffic delays Saturday afternoon, with authorities closing down the exit following the incident.
FHP officials said they are a looking for a white BMW 6 series with a temporary tag that fled the scene. The car was last seen exiting Hollywood Boulevard.
