A pursuit ended in a crash on Interstate 95 near Golden Glades, slowing down traffic on Tuesday afternoon.
The pursuit began in the 3000 block West Sunrise Boulevard near Fort Lauderdale, according to Broward Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Joy Oglesby. BSO deputies were responding to a possible robbery.
The chase ended when the driver crashed into a BSO vehicle on the southbound side of I-95 just south of Miami Gardens Drive, Oglesby said.
One person was taken into custody. Officials said it appears he is not connected to the robbery. What led up to the pursuit is under investigation.
No injuries were reported.
