Miami-Dade Police are distributing flyers in hopes of finding the driver responsible for a fatal hit and run crash that killed a bicyclist.
The accident occurred on February 16th at approximately 6:45 a.m. That's when police say Jose Rubio-Perez, 45, was riding a bicycle when he was fatally struck by a truck traveling eastbound in the Southwest 16900 block of 216th Street in Miami-Dade. The car kept on going, and the victim died fro his injuries.
Police now say they're looking for a 2010-2015 model Dodge Ram pickup truck in a dark metallic gray color with damage to the right front headlight and a missing plastic facia under that headlight.
