Police Arrest 16-Year-Old For Attempted Murder Of Man in North Miami

The juvenile was already in custody when he was arrested again.

Authorities said they arrested a 16-year-old boy in the attempted murder of a man in North Miami.

The minor was arrested Thursday, but was already in custody at the Juvenile Assessment Center for a previous armed robbery, according to North Miami Police.

On Feb. 24, North Miami officers responded to Northeast 8th Avenue and 134th Street in reference to shots fired.

The victim, Wolby Oscar, 20, sustained a gunshot wound to the neck, police said. Oscar was airlifted to Ryder Trauma Center and is currently in stable condition.
