Police Search For Three Men Who Robbed and Beat Man

The man was left unconscious on the street

The City of Miami Police are searching for three men who they say robbed and beat a man and then left him unconscious.

The victim was walking home from a grocery store when three men approached him and demanded his money and his belongings, according to authorities.

Police said that while one man held him down, the second man punched and pistol-whipped him, and the third man took $35 from his pants pocket.

The man was left unconscious, but was able to walk home when he awoke.

The man sustained a large laceration to his eyebrow, swollen lips and swollen eyelids.

He is currently in Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital being treated for his injuries, according to authorities.

Police described the suspects as possibly Latin men, 18 to 20 years old, and around 5 feet 8 inches tall.

The crime occurred on Feb. 21 on NW 12th Avenue and NW 5th Street.
