A man was killed and a woman and 5-year-old boy were injured in a shooting near the Trump International Beach Resort in Sunny Isles Beach Sunday afternoon.

Miami-Dade Police officials said they responded to reports of shots fired near the resort in the 18000 block of Collins Avenue around 1:40 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found several vehicles riddled with bullets and the woman inside one car suffering from a gunshot wound. The woman, identified as 19-year-old Kaylyn Marie Long, was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition.

Officers then discovered that a man had been shot and killed in a car in the parking lot across the street, officials said. Video footage showed what appeared to be a dead body inside covered by a yellow tarp on the driver's seat.

Officials later identified that victim as Muhammad Jradi, 43.

Witnesses at the scene told NBC 6 that Jradi was their co-worker, and that he was sitting inside his car taking his lunch break when he was hit by a stray bullet. Police have not confirmed that information.

"It appears that a stray bullet traveled from the property of Trump International across the street, through the parking lot, striking this individual," said Alvaro Zabaleta, of Miami-Dade Police.

"We heard the second time there was a shooting and then of course, everybody went to the floor, everyone running inside. I could see people on the crime scene running everywhere," said witness Andrea Martinez.

According to police, a 5-year-old boy was grazed by a bullet. That child was treated on scene and released.

Witnesses said the shots came from the hotel. Witnesses reported hearing at least two rounds of bullets.

Several firearms were seized from the resort property, police said.

A third scene was on the Lehman Causeway connecting Sunny Isles to Aventura. Police there set up a perimeter around a black SUV. Police have not yet confirmed if this scene is connected to the other scenes.

Police later told NBC 6 they detained a vehicle that may have been involved in the initial shooting. That car was stopped outside of Hard Rock Stadium, where the Rolling Loud festival was taking place. Officers detained four people there.
